Punjab Suspends Theatre Performances During Muharram
The Punjab Arts Council has announced that all theatre performances across the province will be suspended from 1st to 13th Muharram-ul-Haram.
According to an official notification, no stage dramas or cultural events will be held in any theatre during this period. Theatre operators have been instructed to comply with the directive.
The decision has been taken to observe the religious significance of Muharram and to ensure respect for the occasion across the province.
