Punjab to Add 10 New Green Buses for Lawyers

Authorities in Punjab have agreed to introduce 10 new Green Buses to improve transportation facilities for lawyers travelling between their homes and the district courts.

The Regional Transport Authority and the District Bar Association have also reached an agreement to upgrade 10 existing Green Bus routes to make daily commuting more convenient and reliable.

New Buses Expected This Week

According to officials, the new buses are expected to begin operations by the end of this week.

The agreement was reached between officials of the Regional Transport Authority and representatives of the District Bar Association, including President Malik Sajid Mahmood, Tariq Awan and Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry.

The initiative is aimed at providing lawyers with improved transport options for their regular journeys to and from the district courts.

District Courts Health Facilities Also Being Upgraded

Alongside the transportation initiative, authorities are working to improve healthcare facilities at the Rawalpindi district courts.

The dispensary and health centre at the district courts are being upgraded to provide better medical services for lawyers and other people using the court premises.

The combined measures are expected to improve both transportation and basic healthcare facilities available at the district courts.
