Sindh Governor Announces Free AI Summer Camp for Students
Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has announced a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summer Camp for students during the upcoming summer holidays, aiming to help young learners develop digital and technology-related skills.
The announcement was made during a press conference at the Governor House, where the governor highlighted the growing importance of technology education in today’s digital world. He said the initiative is designed to provide students with practical exposure to AI concepts and emerging technologies at no cost.
According to the governor, the summer camp will help students gain valuable knowledge in a field that is rapidly transforming industries worldwide. He emphasized that with proper guidance and training, young learners can quickly understand and benefit from modern technologies.
The event was attended by Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Fahad Haroon, along with Daniyal Nagori and other guests.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor stressed the need for early technology education, noting that countries investing in innovation, research, and digital skills are better positioned for future economic growth. He added that initiatives focused on technology and skill development can create new opportunities for students in education, entrepreneurship, and employment.
The governor also said that introducing AI-related learning opportunities at an early stage can help prepare students for future academic and professional challenges while supporting the country’s digital transformation efforts.
During the briefing, Daniyal Nagori informed participants that interested students can register for the AI Summer Camp through the official website of the Governor House.
The program is part of ongoing efforts to promote digital literacy and equip young people with skills that are increasingly important in a technology-driven world.
