SNGPL Announces 9-Hour Gas Suspension in Sheikhupura Areas

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in several areas of Sheikhupura district, Punjab, on Thursday, October 1.

According to the gas utility, the supply interruption has been scheduled to facilitate tie-in work on the main gas pipeline.

Gas Supply to Remain Suspended for Nine Hours

SNGPL said gas services in the affected localities will remain unavailable from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, resulting in a nine-hour interruption.

The company shared the schedule through its official social media account and advised consumers in the affected areas to plan accordingly.

Areas Affected

The temporary suspension will affect residents of Balarkay, Hoyekay, Bhadman, Amba, Kalyan, Dera Gujran, Clippy Dogran, 4 Chak Rasala, Chak No. 5 and Bhathal, along with nearby localities.

Gas supply is expected to resume after completion of the scheduled pipeline work.

SNGPL has carried out the temporary suspension to allow the necessary infrastructure work to be completed safely and efficiently.
