Tecno Pop X 5G Launched with Big Battery and Affordable Price
Tecno has officially introduced the new Pop X 5G, a budget-friendly smartphone designed to bring 5G connectivity, a large battery, and modern features at an affordable price point.
Design and display
The Tecno Pop X 5G comes with a refreshed design featuring a horizontal rear camera layout. It sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (720 × 1576 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming.
The screen also supports up to 560 nits peak brightness and includes a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The device measures 8.2mm in thickness and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Performance and software
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, enabling 5G connectivity in the budget segment. It runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes several AI-powered features such as AI Noise Cancellation, AI Writing Assistant, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Image Enhancer tools.
It also supports Tecno’s FreeLink feature, allowing calls and messaging between supported devices without cellular service. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is included for security.

On the rear, the device features a 13MP main camera with LED flash. On the front, it offers an 8MP selfie camera placed inside the display cutout.
