Vehicle Emission Testing Facility is Now Available at Lahore’s Largest Mall

Punjab Environment Department Relocates Emissions Testing Booth to Dolmen Mall

The Punjab Environment Protection and Climate Change Department has announced the relocation of its Emissions Testing System (ETS) booth from Bedian Road to Dolmen Mall in Lahore, aiming to make emissions testing more accessible for citizens.

In a public advisory, the department encouraged motorists to get their vehicles tested to help promote a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

The initiative is part of the government’s broader plan to strengthen environmental regulations across Punjab. Recently, officials also confirmed that the ETS program will soon expand to cover motorways, ensuring stricter monitoring of vehicle emissions across the province.

Currently, 20 ETS booths are active at key locations throughout Lahore. These booths operate from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, with a break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch and prayers.

Motorists are urged to make use of these facilities and play their part in improving air quality and public health across the region.
