WhatsApp Plus Subscription Price Reportedly Revealed for Pakistan
The popular messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new premium version called WhatsApp Plus in select regions, including Pakistan. The feature is still in early testing and is not available to all users yet.
According to reports from WABetaInfo, the subscription price in Pakistan is expected to be around Rs. 230 per month, making it relatively cheaper compared to other countries. For comparison, it may cost around €2.49 per month in Europe and MXN 29 in Mexico.
Premium Features Expected in WhatsApp Plus
The subscription is said to introduce several extra customization and productivity features, including:
- Additional app themes and color options
- Custom app icons
- Premium stickers with animated effects
- Extra chat pinning options
- Custom ringtones for calls and messages
One of the key upgrades is expanded personalization, allowing users to change the look and feel of the app more freely than the standard version.
New Chat and Organization Tools
WhatsApp Plus may also include improved chat management features, such as:
- Pinning up to 20 chats (instead of 3 in the free version)
- Applying settings across multiple chats at once
- Automatic theme and ringtone application for chat lists
These features are designed to help users manage large volumes of conversations more efficiently.
Premium Stickers and Animations
Another expected highlight is a premium sticker library with enhanced visual effects. Some animated stickers may even display overlay-style animations across the chat screen, visible to both sender and recipient.
App Icons and Visual Customization
Reports also suggest that users may get access to multiple new app icon styles, including minimalist, neon, pastel, and textured designs. These options aim to give users more control over how the app appears on their device.
Status of WhatsApp Plus
The feature is still in testing phase, and only a limited number of Android users are currently able to try it. An iOS release is expected later if testing continues successfully.
For now, WhatsApp has not officially confirmed a global launch date or final pricing structure.
