Zhuang Powers China to Fifth Straight Win in Volleyball Nations League 2026

China continued their strong form in the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) with a convincing straight-sets victory over France, securing their fifth consecutive win in the tournament.

The Chinese team delivered a dominant performance, defeating France 3-0 with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-19 in Bangkok.

Outside hitter Zhuang Yushan was the standout performer of the match, scoring 20 points to lead her team. Her performance included powerful attacks, key blocks, and a service ace, helping China maintain control throughout the contest.

With this result, China extended their winning streak to five matches after an earlier setback in the competition. Since then, they have recorded victories over Thailand, Serbia, Poland, Germany, and now France, showing consistent improvement in form.

Zhuang’s strong display also moved her up to third place in the VNL scoring rankings, highlighting her importance to the team’s success this season.

Other contributors included Dong Yuhan, who added nine points, and Tang Xin, who contributed eight points in a solid team effort.

China’s coaching staff praised the team’s performance and highlighted the importance of the win, especially after a previous defeat to France in a major international competition last year. The team emphasized their improved focus and execution in recent matches.

With momentum on their side, China will look to continue their winning run as the Volleyball Nations League progresses.
