Newman Nyamhuri Leads Zimbabwe’s Bowling Attack
Left-arm fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 4 wickets for 61 runs as Bangladesh struggled to build partnerships.

After reaching 113 for 3, Bangladesh lost their remaining seven wickets for just 27 runs, allowing Zimbabwe to seize control of the match.

Zimbabwe’s response was built around an unbeaten innings from opener Innocent Kaia, who finished the day on 76 not out.
Kaia struck nine boundaries during his composed knock and shared an opening partnership of 89 runs with Ben Curran, who contributed 42 before being dismissed by Khaled Ahmed.
Veteran batter Brendan Taylor remained unbeaten on 17, helping Zimbabwe close the day just four runs behind Bangladesh’s first-innings total.
