The Sindh government has extended its support to rising boxing star Aliya Soomro, approving a grant of Rs4.7 million to fund her participation in an upcoming international tournament in Dubai this August. The 19-year-old athlete from Lyari is set to face an Indian opponent, whose name is expected to be confirmed a week before the event.
