Turkish Airlines to Increase Flights to Pakistan

Turkish Airlines Expands Flight Operations to Pakistan Starting October 27

Turkish Airlines has announced an expansion of its flight operations to Pakistan, with increased connectivity to both Islamabad and Lahore starting October 27, 2025, according to 24NewsHD TV.

Increased Weekly Flights

As part of the updated flight schedule:

  • Flights from Istanbul to Lahore will increase from 11 to 14 per week

  • Flights to Islamabad will rise from 10 to 14 per week

The airline plans to operate these routes using its Airbus A300 aircraft, offering enhanced capacity and comfort for travelers between Turkey and Pakistan.

Ensuring Safe Operations

This development follows a technical incident on July 7, 2025, when a Turkish Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport shortly after takeoff due to a detected fault.

According to airport officials, the pilot contacted air traffic control and was granted immediate clearance to return. The aircraft landed safely and was moved to a designated parking bay for a thorough technical inspection by engineers.

With the expansion of Turkish Airlines’ flight operations, travelers will benefit from more flexible scheduling and greater access between Pakistan and Turkey — a move expected to further strengthen tourism, business, and cultural ties.
