Pakistan U19 Volleyball Team Heads to Uzbekistan for FIVB World Championship Debut

Pakistan’s U19 volleyball team is set to make history as it departs for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to participate in the prestigious FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship, taking place from July 24 to August 3, 2025.

This marks Pakistan’s debut appearance in the global youth volleyball event, signaling a major step forward for the country’s rising talent on the international stage.


Competing Among the World’s Best

The 2025 FIVB U19 World Championship features 24 national teams, including volleyball powerhouses like Brazil, USA, Italy, Iran, France, and Japan. Other participating countries include Argentina, Belgium, China, Canada, TΓΌrkiye, Korea, and host Uzbekistan.


Pakistan’s Group and Schedule

Placed in Pool A, Pakistan will face:

  • Belgium (Opening match – July 24)

  • Uzbekistan

  • Argentina

  • Puerto Rico

  • TΓΌrkiye

The group stage runs from July 24 to 29, followed by knockout and classification rounds from July 30 to August 3. The finals and medal matches will take place on the tournament’s closing day.


A Milestone for Pakistan Volleyball

In a statement, the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) said:
