Gold Price Stable But Close to Record High After Yesterday’s Big Increase

Gold Price Holds Steady in Pakistan After Recent Surge

The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan remained stable at Rs. 361,200 per tola on Tuesday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This follows a significant increase of Rs. 3,600 per tola recorded the previous day, which brought domestic gold prices close to their all-time high of Rs. 363,700 per tola.


Gold Rates

  • 24-karat gold (10 grams): Rs. 309,671

  • 22-karat gold (10 grams): Rs. 283,865

  • No changes were reported in these categories.


Silver Prices Climb

While gold prices remained unchanged, silver saw a modest increase:

  • Silver (per tola): Up Rs. 23 to Rs. 4,035

  • Silver (10 grams): Up Rs. 20 to Rs. 3,459


Global Market Trends

In the international market, gold prices held firm at $3,387 per ounce, while silver rose by $0.23, reaching $38.88 per ounce, according to the Association’s latest report.


Outlook

The gold market in Pakistan remains highly responsive to global price movements and currency fluctuations. As precious metals continue to be viewed as a safe investment, local traders and buyers are closely monitoring both domestic and international trends.
