Exciting Matchups Set for Day 2 of the 2025 Little League Softball World Series
The 2025 Little League Softball World Series continues on Monday, August 4, with another full day of exciting matchups at Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park in Greenville, North Carolina.
Following an eventful opening day on Sunday, August 3, four teams celebrated their first wins of the tournament. These winning teams will return to the field on Day 2 to face new challengers in hopes of continuing their momentum.
The Southeast region team from Lake Mary, Florida; the host team from Pitt County, North Carolina; the Canada region team from Repentigny, Quebec; and the Mid-Atlantic team from Johnstown, Pennsylvania all secured victories on Day 1.
Day 2 will open with Pitt County taking on the Central region team from Floyds Knobs, Indiana. That game will be followed by Lake Mary facing the Southwest representative from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Later in the day, Johnstown will compete against the West region team from Los Angeles, California. The final game of the day features Repentigny, Quebec going up against Iwate, Japan, representing the Asia-Pacific region.
Fans can look forward to another day of spirited competition and outstanding sportsmanship as teams from around the world continue their journey toward the championship.
