Netflix Teases Lady Gaga’s Role in Wednesday Season 2
Netflix continues to expand its lineup of hit shows, and Wednesday remains one of the biggest global favorites. Fans are eagerly awaiting part two of the second season, and the streamer has now unveiled a major surprise.
Pop icon Lady Gaga is officially joining the cast as Rosaline Rotwood, a teacher at Nevermore Academy. The first look revealed Gaga in full character, with Netflix captioning the post: “A vision in venom. Here’s your first look at Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood.”
The excitement doesn’t end there. On September 3, alongside the release of season two, part two, Gaga’s new track “The Dead Dance” will also drop — and it will feature within the show.
Speaking at Netflix and Spotify’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala, Gaga shared her excitement:
“Everyone here is so incredible. Thank you. I’m also here to confirm that my song ‘The Dead Dance’ is coming September 3. It’s a part of the show and I’m so excited for you to see it.”
The Grammy winner also expressed her joy about joining the project:
“I had a wonderful time working on Wednesday season two, even just being a small part of the show. I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna.”
Part one of season two already dominated Netflix’s global charts, and with Gaga now in the spotlight, anticipation for part two is higher than ever.
