Putin Invites PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Russia for SCO Summit
Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended an official invitation to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Russia for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of Government Summit, scheduled to be held in November.
The development came during a meeting between the two leaders in Beijing, where they were attending the SCO Council of Heads of State Summit.
This high-level engagement highlights the growing diplomatic interactions between Pakistan and Russia, with both sides expected to discuss regional cooperation, trade, and energy partnerships during the upcoming summit.
