Team Canada Arrives in Argentina for U23 Men’s Pan American Softball Championship
La Pampa, Argentina – The Canadian U23 Men’s National Softball Team has officially landed in Argentina and is set to begin final preparations for the U23 Men’s Pan American Championship. The tournament begins on Saturday, September 13th at the Arnaldo Bautista Gomez Stadium in Santa Rosa (La Pampa).
Canada will open its campaign against Mexico at 1:30 p.m. local time (12:30 p.m. EDT).
The squad will be guided by returning head coach Doug Allin (Peachland, B.C.), alongside new coaching staff members Adam Brown (Fitzroy Harbour, Ont.) and Doug Charlton (Strathroy, Ont.). The roster features three players who represented Canada at the 2023 U23 Men’s World Cup, as well as eleven athletes with prior experience in the U18 national program.
