Pakistani Rupee Strengthens Slightly Against US Dollar
Karachi, Pakistan – September 22, 2025 – The Pakistani rupee continued its upward trend against the US dollar on Monday, closing slightly stronger in the inter-bank market.
At the close, the rupee settled at Rs. 281.45, gaining Rs. 0.01 against the greenback, marking its 32nd consecutive session of gains. Last week, the rupee also posted a modest advance, appreciating by Rs. 0.09 in the inter-bank market.
In the open market, the dollar was quoted at Rs. 282.35 for buying and Rs. 282.50 for selling, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).

Analysts noted that the rupee’s steady performance reflects improved market confidence and could support stability in Pakistan’s forex and trade markets.
