OGRA Announces Revised LPG Prices for June 2026
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced updated Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for June 2026, reflecting a modest increase in consumer rates across Pakistan.
According to the latest notification, the official LPG consumer price has been set at Rs. 308.76 per kilogram, up by Rs. 4.95 per kilogram compared to the previous month.
As a result, the price of a standard 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has been fixed at Rs. 3,643.41 for June 2026.
The revised prices took effect on June 1 and will remain applicable throughout the month unless further adjustments are announced by the regulator.
How LPG Prices Are Determined
OGRA stated that LPG prices are calculated using a number of factors, including producer prices, petroleum levy, transportation costs, marketing and distribution margins, and applicable taxes.
The regulator noted that the notified rates represent the maximum consumer prices allowed under the current pricing framework.
Consumers May See Lower Market Prices
While OGRA sets the maximum permissible rates, LPG producers, marketing companies, and distributors are free to sell the product at lower prices depending on market conditions and competition.
The authority regularly reviews LPG prices to reflect changes in market dynamics and ensure transparency in the pricing mechanism.
Industry observers say LPG remains an important energy source for households and businesses, particularly in areas where access to natural gas is limited.
