Pakistani Rupee Shows Stability Against US Dollar
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) continued its stable performance against the US dollar on Wednesday, extending its recent trend of gradual recovery in the currency market.
According to market data, the rupee closed at 278.27 per US dollar, reflecting a slight gain of three paisas compared to the previous session. This marks a continued period of relative stability in the exchange rate.
Analysts note that the rupee has shown consistent movement within a narrow range in recent weeks, indicating reduced volatility in the foreign exchange market.
The rupee also remained largely stable against other major currencies, including the UAE dirham and Saudi riyal, while showing minor fluctuations against the euro, British pound, Australian dollar, and Canadian dollar.
Currency market experts say exchange rates continue to be influenced by supply and demand dynamics, as well as broader global economic conditions.
Further movements in the currency market will depend on economic indicators, import demand, and foreign inflows in the coming days.
