Hajj 2027 Registration Opens in Pakistan via Pak Hajj App
Islamabad — The Government of Pakistan has officially launched mandatory registration for Hajj 2027, allowing intending pilgrims to complete the process from home using the Pak Hajj mobile application.
The registration process was formally inaugurated on June 22 by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf. Applicants can also register through the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ online Hajj Management System or by visiting designated bank branches.
Officials clarified that this is only the initial registration stage. Final Hajj applications will be submitted later, and only registered individuals will be eligible to apply when the booking phase begins.
Registration is Free
The government has confirmed that no fee will be charged for Hajj 2027 registration. The process is mandatory for applicants under both government and private Hajj schemes.
App Features
The Pak Hajj App provides users access to personal details, bank information, group data, Mehram details, nominee and helper information, training schedules, QR codes, document uploads, and accommodation-related updates. It also offers guidance in Urdu, English, and Arabic.
Passport Requirement
A passport is not required during the initial registration stage. However, a valid Pakistani passport will be necessary at the booking stage. Authorities have indicated that passports should remain valid until at least November 2027, though final confirmation will be issued later.
Costs and Policy
The final Hajj 2027 package cost, installment plan, and booking schedule have not yet been announced. These details will be included in the upcoming Hajj Policy 2027. Officials also stated that Pakistan is in talks with Saudi Arabia regarding a possible increase in its Hajj quota.
