Newly Married Woman Found Dead in Narowal; Husband and Family Booked
NAROWAL: Police have registered a case against a man and three of his family members after a newly married woman was found dead in Narowal, officials said.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the complaint was filed by the victim’s brother, who alleged that his sister had been married around three months ago.
The complainant stated that after the marriage, the woman allegedly faced repeated domestic disputes. He further claimed that she had returned to her parents’ home following an argument with her husband and his family earlier this month.
According to the FIR, the husband later visited his in-laws’ home, reconciled with his wife and took her back. The complaint alleges that another dispute occurred after her return, following which she died under suspicious circumstances.
Police said they responded to the incident after receiving information and shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital in Narowal for a post-mortem examination.
FIR Registered, Investigation Underway
Saddar Narowal Police have registered an FIR against the woman’s husband, his brother, father and mother on the complaint of the victim’s family.
Authorities said an investigation is underway and evidence is being collected to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
Police have not yet announced any conclusions regarding the case, and the allegations mentioned in the FIR remain subject to investigation.
