Honor’s Upcoming Foldable Phone Could Feature a Massive 7,000mAh Battery
Honor is reportedly preparing to launch its first wide-format foldable smartphone, with new leaks suggesting the device could offer one of the largest batteries ever seen in a flagship foldable phone.
Although the company has not officially announced the device, industry reports indicate that it has entered the final stages of development ahead of a future launch.
Large Battery Expected
According to information shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming foldable smartphone may feature a 7,000mAh battery.
If accurate, this would rank among the largest batteries available in a premium foldable smartphone, potentially offering longer battery life for everyday use.
Honor has previously focused on large-capacity batteries in its smartphones, including the Honor Magic V6, which features a 6,660mAh battery.
Dual Display Design
The leaked specifications suggest the phone will include:
- A 7.6-inch foldable inner display
- A 5.5-inch external cover screen
The larger outer display is expected to make everyday tasks such as messaging, web browsing, and media viewing more convenient without opening the device.
High-Resolution Camera System
The upcoming foldable is also rumored to feature a 200MP primary rear camera.
Reports further suggest the camera setup may include a periscope telephoto lens, allowing improved zoom photography. However, additional camera specifications have not yet been revealed.
Flagship Performance
Previous leaks indicate the device could be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship Snapdragon processor.
While the chipset has not been officially confirmed, it is expected to deliver high-end performance suitable for gaming, multitasking, and AI-powered features.
Official Launch Yet to Be Confirmed
Honor has not announced the phone’s official name, launch date, or complete specifications.
As with all unofficial reports, these details should be treated as preliminary until the company releases official information. If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the new foldable could become one of Honor’s most advanced smartphones to date.
