Authorities Review Safety Procedures After Death at Lahore Sports Complex

A 37-year-old man passed away while swimming at the LDA Sports Complex in Lahore, prompting authorities to review the circumstances surrounding the incident and the safety measures in place at the facility.

According to reports, the incident took place two days ago at the swimming pool of the EME Sports Complex, which is managed by the LDA Sports Complex Directorate.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Aqdas. Initial reports indicate that he became unresponsive while swimming. The exact cause of death remains under review.

Some reports have raised concerns regarding the response time and supervision at the facility, while the Sports Complex Directorate stated that the individual suffered a heart attack during swimming rather than drowning.
