Fuel Prices Raised for Fifth Consecutive Day in Pakistan
The government has announced another increase in fuel prices, marking the fifth consecutive daily revision in petroleum rates.
According to the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 3.66 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs. 335.18 per litre. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs. 4.80 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs. 383.46 per litre.
The revised prices came into effect following the official notification released on Friday night.
Previous Day’s Increase
A day earlier, petrol prices had increased by Rs. 4.44 per litre to Rs. 331.52 per litre, while diesel prices rose by Rs. 3.62 per litre to Rs. 378.66 per litre.

Overall Increase Since Daily Pricing Began
Since the introduction of daily fuel price revisions, petrol has become Rs. 24.46 per litre more expensive, while high-speed diesel has increased by Rs. 60.16 per litre.
The latest adjustments continue the upward trend in fuel prices, which may have an impact on transportation costs and other sectors linked to petroleum products.
