Candidate Dies During Islamabad Police Recruitment Physical Test

A 25-year-old candidate lost his life during a physical fitness test conducted as part of the Islamabad Police recruitment process, officials confirmed.

According to police, the candidate, identified as Ishaq, collapsed while participating in the mandatory running test and became unconscious during the exercise.

Rescue personnel immediately shifted him by ambulance to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for emergency medical treatment.

However, doctors confirmed that he had passed away before reaching the hospital.

Police said the deceased was a resident of Sarai Norang, located in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the exact cause of death, and no further official details have been released regarding the incident. The Islamabad Police recruitment process is continuing as scheduled.
