Government Revises Kerosene Oil Price in Latest Fuel Adjustment

Government Revises Kerosene Oil Price in Latest Fuel Adjustment

The federal government has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs8.70 per litre, effective from June 6, 2026, according to official reports.

Following the revision, the new price of kerosene oil has been set at Rs280.70 per litre, compared to the previous rate of Rs272 per litre.

Recent Changes in Fuel Prices

In the latest fuel price updates, petrol prices were reduced by Rs4 per litre on June 5, while the price of high-speed diesel remained unchanged.

Officials said the adjustments reflect ongoing changes in international oil markets, which continue to influence domestic fuel pricing.

According to the latest notification, petrol is now priced at Rs376 per litre, while high-speed diesel remains at Rs380 per litre.

Market Impact

Frequent revisions in fuel prices are linked to global oil market fluctuations, which have led to both increases and decreases across different petroleum products in recent weeks.

Authorities say fuel prices will continue to be reviewed regularly in line with international trends and domestic economic conditions.
