Government Revises Petrol and Diesel Prices
The government has announced another increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), with the revised rates taking effect from July 24, 2026.
According to the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.44 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 331.52 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs. 3.62 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs. 378.66 per litre.
Previous Price Revision
Just a day earlier, fuel prices had also been revised upward. On July 23, petrol prices increased by Rs. 6.39 per litre to Rs. 327.12, while HSD prices rose by Rs. 7.83 per litre to Rs. 375.04 per litre.

Since the introduction of the daily fuel price adjustment mechanism, fuel prices have changed as follows:

Overall, since the daily pricing system was introduced, petrol prices have increased by Rs. 20.81 per litre, while high-speed diesel prices have risen by Rs. 55.36 per litre.
