IHC to Hear Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Appeals in £190 Million Case on October 5

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has scheduled the appeals of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in the £190 million case for hearing on October 5.

A two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif will hear the appeals.

The court has directed the lawyers representing Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to present their final arguments during the upcoming hearing.

What Is the £190 Million Case?

The case relates to the Al-Qadir Trust settlement and concerns allegations investigated by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to NAB’s case, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were accused of receiving financial benefits and land in connection with the settlement. The case involves billions of rupees and a substantial amount of land.

The accused have denied wrongdoing and challenged the proceedings and conviction through appeals before the Islamabad High Court.

The October 5 hearing will provide the defence lawyers an opportunity to present their final arguments before the court considers the appeals.
