India Post 211-6 Against Pakistan in Asian Games Final

India scored 211 runs for the loss of six wickets against Pakistan in the Asian Games men’s cricket final on Saturday, setting Pakistan a challenging target at Korogi Sports Park.
Abhishek Sharma led India’s batting effort with a rapid 61 off 28 balls, while Tilak Varma finished the innings strongly with an unbeaten 51 from 22 deliveries.
Abhishek Provides Fast Start
India chose to bat first and their opening pair of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma immediately attacked the Pakistani bowlers.
Pakistan got its first breakthrough when Saim Ayub dismissed Sooryavanshi with the first ball of the third over. The opener made 15 from nine deliveries, including two fours.
Abhishek continued to score quickly and helped India move beyond 50 in the fourth over. Ahmed Daniyal then dismissed Sanju Samson for two, leaving India at 51 for two.
The left-handed batter maintained the momentum and completed his half-century before Arafat Minhas ended his innings.
Abhishek scored 61 runs from 28 balls, hitting three fours and seven sixes.
India Cross 200
Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan attempted to rebuild the innings, putting together a 35-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Minhas broke the stand by dismissing Kishan for 20 off 18 balls. He hit three fours during his innings.
Pakistan then removed India captain Shreyas Iyer, with Abrar Ahmed taking his wicket for 21 from 24 deliveries. Iyer struck two boundaries.
Shivam Dube provided another burst of runs in the later overs, hitting two fours as India moved beyond the 150-run mark.
Tilak Varma Finishes Strongly
Tilak Varma took charge during the final overs and attacked Pakistan’s bowlers with a series of big shots.
He hit consecutive sixes against Sufiyan Muqeem in the 18th over and continued the assault in the closing stages.
Daniyal dismissed Dube with the first delivery of the final over. Dube scored 27 from 15 balls, including two fours and two sixes.
Varma then struck another six to take India beyond 200 and completed his half-century with another maximum.
He remained unbeaten on 51 from 22 balls, with three fours and four sixes, as India finished their innings at 211-6.
For Pakistan, Ahmed Daniyal and Arafat Minhas claimed two wickets each, while Abrar Ahmed and Saim Ayub took one wicket apiece.
