Lahore Board Student Secures Third Position After Rechecking

A student has secured third position in the Lahore Board matric examinations after a rechecking process revealed that two marks had not been counted in her original result.

Aafia Naeem, a student at a private educational institution in Model Town, had initially received 1,187 marks in the Lahore Board matriculation results.

Two Marks Found During Rechecking

Aafia requested a rechecking of her examination papers following the announcement of the results.

During the review, the Lahore Board found that two marks in one section of her examination paper had not been checked.

The board subsequently corrected the oversight and added the missing marks to her result.

Total Marks Increased to 1,189

Following the rechecking process, Aafia’s total score increased from 1,187 to 1,189 marks.

The revised score was enough to move her into third position among Lahore Board matriculation students.

The Lahore Board is also expected to organise a ceremony to recognise Aafia Naeem for her achievement.
