Match officials announced for Test series against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka’s Ranjan Madugalle to Oversee Pakistan vs. Bangladesh Test Series as ICC Match Referee

Sri Lanka’s Ranjan Madugalle, a prominent member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, has been appointed to lead the playing control teams for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 fixtures between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The two-match Test series is set to begin at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21 to 25, followed by the second Test at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.

The series will feature a combination of experienced umpires from the ICC Elite Panel and the ICC International Panel. For the first Test in Rawalpindi, England’s Richard Kettleborough and South Africa’s Adrian Holdstock will serve as the on-field umpires, with England’s Michael Gough acting as the third umpire and Pakistan’s Rashid Riaz as the fourth umpire.

In the second Test in Karachi, Michael Gough and Adrian Holdstock will take on the on-field umpire duties, while Richard Kettleborough will step in as the third umpire. Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob will be the fourth umpire for this match.

With such a distinguished lineup of officials, the series promises to be conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and fairness, ensuring a thrilling contest between the two teams.
