Pakistan Bowlers Make Gains in Latest ICC ODI Rankings

Several Pakistan bowlers have improved their positions in the latest ICC ODI rankings following strong performances in the ongoing ODI series against Australia.

Spinner Abrar Ahmed recorded one of the biggest gains among Pakistan players, climbing seven places to fourth position in the ODI bowling rankings with 633 rating points. The rise reflects his recent contributions with the ball during the series.

Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi also moved up in the rankings, advancing four places to 13th with 593 rating points after consistent performances.

Among other Pakistan bowlers, Haris Rauf maintained his position at 19th place. Naseem Shah moved to 45th, while Mohammad Wasim Jr is ranked 65th. Mohammad Nawaz occupies 75th position, and Faheem Ashraf is placed 98th in the latest standings.

At the top of the ODI bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to hold the number one position. England fast bowler Jofra Archer remains second, while South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj is ranked third.

ODI Batting Rankings

In the batting rankings, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains the country’s highest-ranked batter at sixth place with 687 rating points.

Salman Ali Agha is ranked 14th, while wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan occupies 30th position. Fakhar Zaman is placed 33rd, and Saim Ayub remains 41st in the rankings. Abdullah Shafique is currently ranked 99th.

New Zealand batter Daryl Mitchell continues to lead the ICC ODI batting rankings. India’s Virat Kohli holds second place, while Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran is ranked third.

The latest rankings reflect recent international performances and will continue to evolve as teams compete in upcoming ODI fixtures.
