Lahore Traffic Police Launches ‘Rasta’ App for Traffic Updates and Travel Assistance
The City Traffic Police Lahore has launched a new mobile application, Rasta, aimed at providing residents with real-time traffic information and travel assistance across the city.
According to traffic police officials, the app is designed to help commuters access traffic updates, route guidance, travel advisories, and important notifications related to road conditions and emergencies.
The initiative is intended to support smoother travel by helping motorists make informed route choices and stay updated about traffic situations before and during their journeys.
In addition to traffic information, the Rasta app offers a range of public services, including emergency assistance, feedback submission, news and updates, driving license-related services, and e-ticketing facilities.
Officials said that access to timely traffic information can help reduce travel delays, improve route planning, and contribute to a more efficient commuting experience for residents.
The Lahore Traffic Police has encouraged citizens to download the app through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store to benefit from its features and receive regular traffic alerts.
Authorities also reminded residents that emergency assistance remains available through helpline 15 for urgent situations requiring immediate support.
