Pakistan Players Rise in Latest ICC T20I Rankings

Several Pakistan cricketers have moved up the latest ICC T20I rankings, with Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz and Sufiyan Muqeem making progress in the updated standings.

The rankings were updated following the India-Afghanistan T20I series, while some Pakistan players experienced minor drops in their respective positions.

Sahibzada Farhan Remains Pakistan’s Top-Ranked Batter

Sahibzada Farhan slipped one position to third in the ICC T20I batting rankings after India’s Abhishek Sharma moved into second place.

India’s Ishan Kishan continues to lead the batting chart with 913 rating points, followed by Abhishek Sharma on 862 points and Farhan on 848.

Among other Pakistan batters, Saim Ayub remained at 41st with 560 points, while Babar Azam held 43rd place with 555 points.

Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha also maintained his 45th position, with 547 rating points.

Fakhar Zaman, who last played a T20I for Pakistan in February, climbed one place to 72nd with 481 points. No other Pakistani batter features in the current top 100.

Abrar Ahmed Retains Second Spot Among Bowlers

Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed remains the country’s highest-ranked bowler in the T20I rankings.

Abrar is currently second with 736 points, behind Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who leads the bowling chart with 744 points. England’s Adil Rashid occupies third place with 710 points.

Mohammad Nawaz was another Pakistan player to make progress, moving up one place to eighth with 658 rating points.

Meanwhile, Salman Mirza dropped two places to 17th with 636 points, while Shaheen Afridi moved down one spot to 32nd, with 602 points.

Sufiyan Muqeem Moves Up in Bowling Rankings

Further down the standings, Usman Tariq retained 59th place with 524 points.

Sufiyan Muqeem improved his position by moving up to 64th with 510 points.

Saim Ayub remained 72nd among T20I bowlers with 492 points, while Shadab Khan held 77th place. Haris Rauf stayed at 88th with 448 points.
