PIA Expands Free Baggage Allowance on Beijing Flights
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced an increase in free baggage allowances for passengers traveling on its Beijing route, along with enhanced travel connectivity between Pakistan and China.
Under the updated policy, Economy Class travelers can now check in up to 50 kilograms of baggage, compared to the previous 40-kilogram limit. Meanwhile, Executive Economy passengers will be allowed up to 60 kilograms, up from 50 kilograms.
In addition to the revised baggage policy, PIA has expanded travel options through interline partnerships with Air China and Shenzhen Airlines. The arrangements enable passengers from 25 Chinese cities to connect to Islamabad via Beijing under a single ticket and fare structure.
According to the airline, the initiative is aimed at improving convenience and affordability for travelers while strengthening air links between the two countries.
The enhanced services are expected to benefit a wide range of passengers, including students, business travelers, tourists, and families traveling between Pakistan and China.
PIA stated that the updated baggage allowances and expanded network reflect its ongoing efforts to improve the overall travel experience and facilitate smoother international connectivity.
The development also supports growing people-to-people and business exchanges between Pakistan and China by making travel more accessible and convenient.
