Samsung Introduces AI Health Assistant in Samsung Health App
Samsung has unveiled Health Assistant, a new AI-powered feature within the Samsung Health app that helps users better understand their health and wellness data through personalized insights.
The feature is designed to simplify health tracking by explaining trends and highlighting connections between different aspects of a user’s daily routine.
AI-Powered Health Insights
Health Assistant analyzes information collected from five key wellness categories available in Samsung Health:
- Sleep
- Physical activity
- Nutrition
- Mindfulness
- Vital signs
Instead of displaying individual metrics separately, the assistant provides easy-to-understand explanations that show how these areas may influence one another.
Personalized Wellness Guidance
According to Samsung, the AI assistant can identify patterns in users’ health data and provide personalized wellness suggestions based on their activity and lifestyle.
The company says the recommendations have been reviewed by healthcare professionals and certified health coaches.
However, Samsung emphasizes that the feature is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or replace professional healthcare services.
More Features Planned
Samsung plans to expand Health Assistant with additional capabilities in future updates.
Upcoming features may include:
- Wellness and healthy habit coaching
- Weight management support
- More personalized recommendations using Samsung’s Personal Data Engine
The company says future updates will tailor insights based on a user’s routine, preferences, and daily schedule.
Part of Samsung’s Digital Health Strategy
Samsung says Health Assistant is part of its broader Connected Care initiative, which focuses on helping users monitor their overall well-being through connected devices and intelligent software.
The company believes AI-powered health insights can encourage healthier lifestyle choices and help users better understand long-term wellness trends.
Availability
Health Assistant is currently available to eligible Samsung Health users in the United States.
Samsung has not yet announced when the feature will be released in additional countries or regions.
