South Africa Women’s U19 team to tour Pakistan for first time in July for five-match T20 series

LAHORE: South Africa Women’s Under-19 cricket team will visit Pakistan for the first time to play a five-match T20 series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Thursday.

All matches will be held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from July 14 to 24. The match timings will be announced later.

According to the PCB, the visiting team will arrive in Karachi on July 10 and will take part in training sessions from July 11 to 13 before the start of the series.

The opening match of the series is scheduled for July 14, followed by the remaining four matches on July 17, 19, 22, and 24.

Pakistan Women’s Under-19 team last played a bilateral series in Bangladesh, where they secured a 3-2 victory in a five-match contest.

The upcoming series is expected to help both teams prepare for future international events, including the ACC Women’s U19 T20 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.

The PCB has also recently organised training camps for its Women’s Under-19 players in Karachi to support their preparation for upcoming competitions.
