In summer zones, primary schools will remain closed from June 1 to August 31. Middle, high, and higher secondary schools will observe summer holidays from June 15 to August 16.

For winter zone schools, summer vacations will be held from July 1 to July 31.

Summer Camps and Academic Activities

The department also stated that summer camps will continue in selected schools within summer zones during June 2026.

During this period, classes for primary and middle levels will be conducted in the morning, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, while higher classes will continue until 9:40 am.

Subjects included in the summer schedule include English, Mathematics, Urdu, General Science, and General Knowledge for primary and middle levels, while high school students will follow separate science and humanities courses.

Guidelines for Schools

School administrations have been allowed to adjust subject distribution and timing according to academic needs, provided that daily sessions do not extend beyond 10:00 am.
