PITB Opens Registration for SheWins Digital Skills Training Program
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has announced registrations for a new batch of its SheWins Training Program, an initiative designed to help women develop digital and technology-related skills.
As part of the latest intake, applicants can enroll in a newly introduced course titled “AI Skills for Online Earning.” The six-week online training program is being offered at a subsidized fee and focuses on practical applications of artificial intelligence in the digital economy.
The course curriculum includes topics such as Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Fundamentals of Agentic AI, and the use of AI tools for content creation, freelancing, and digital business activities.
Participants will receive hands-on training aimed at helping them understand emerging technologies and develop skills that can support online work opportunities and professional growth.
According to PITB, the program is intended to improve digital literacy and provide women with access to modern technology education in a rapidly evolving job market.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the initiative aims to equip women with relevant technological skills, enabling them to participate more effectively in the digital economy and explore new opportunities created by advancements in artificial intelligence.
