Rawalpindi, July 6, 2026: A woman gave birth inside a moving Rescue 1122 ambulance while being shifted to hospital in Rawalpindi, in an emergency situation handled by paramedics on board.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the medical team on duty responded immediately when the woman’s condition worsened during transport and carried out the delivery inside the ambulance.

Officials said the staff acted professionally and ensured a safe delivery without waiting to reach the hospital due to the urgency of the situation.

After the birth, both the mother and newborn received initial medical care inside the ambulance before being transferred to hospital for further treatment.

Mother and Baby in Stable Condition

Rescue sources confirmed that both the mother and baby were shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for further observation and care.

Doctors at the hospital reported that both are in stable condition and are being closely monitored.
