Gold Prices Rise for Third Consecutive Day in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend for the third consecutive day on Saturday, October 10, as rising international bullion prices pushed local rates higher.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs1,100 per tola to settle at Rs442,036.

The price of 10-gram gold also climbed by Rs943, reaching Rs378,974 in the local market.

Gold had recorded a more substantial increase on Friday, when its price rose by Rs5,900 per tola to close at Rs440,936.

In the international market, gold prices gained $11 per ounce, settling at $4,195. The increase in global rates contributed to the continued rise in domestic bullion prices.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher in Pakistan. The price of silver increased by Rs43 per tola to reach Rs6,555.

The latest gains extend the recent upward movement in precious metal prices, with gold remaining closely influenced by changes in the international market.
