Australia produced another dominant performance on Sunday, defeating England by seven wickets in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final at Lord’s to claim a record-extending seventh tournament title.
Chasing a target of 151, Australia reached the total with 17 balls remaining, thanks to an outstanding partnership between Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield that put the team in complete control of the run chase.
The victory marked another successful chapter for Australia, who regained the Women’s T20 World Cup trophy with an impressive display in both bowling and batting.
England Post 150-4 After Late Recovery
After being asked to bat, England finished on 150-4 from their 20 overs.
Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt led the innings with a composed 58 runs, while Freya Kemp added an unbeaten 44 from 28 deliveries. The pair shared an 80-run partnership to help England recover after losing early wickets.

After the dismissals of Mooney and Litchfield, experienced batter Ellyse Perry guided Australia toward the finish.
The winning runs came in unusual fashion as England conceded four wides, allowing Australia to seal the title with seven wickets in hand.
