Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder Bench Power Comeback Win Over Spurs 123-108 for 2-1 Lead

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder with a standout performance as they overcame an early deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 123-108 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The win gives the Thunder a 2-1 series lead after a strong second-half response following a difficult opening stretch.

Thunder recover from early setback

San Antonio started strongly and built a 15-point lead early in the game, putting pressure on Oklahoma City in front of a home crowd.

However, the Thunder gradually regained control, using strong bench contributions and improved defense to shift momentum.

Bench dominates the game

Oklahoma City’s bench played a key role in the comeback, outscoring San Antonio’s reserves by a wide margin. Alex Caruso added valuable points and energy, helping swing momentum in the Thunder’s favor.

Jalen Williams was unavailable due to left hamstring soreness, but other players stepped up to fill the gap.

Key performances

Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 26 points and 12 assists, while Jared McCain scored 24 points and Jaylin Williams added 18 for Oklahoma City.

For San Antonio, Victor Wembanyama led the scoring with 24 points, while Devin Vassell and De’Aaron Fox also made important contributions.

Series outlook

The Thunder have now won two straight games after dropping Game 1 in double overtime. Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Sunday, with both teams looking to shift momentum in what has become a tightly contested matchup.
