Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan as International Market Recovers

Gold prices increased in Pakistan on Thursday, following a recovery in the international bullion market after two consecutive sessions of decline.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,000, reaching Rs. 427,436.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs. 857, bringing it to Rs. 366,457.

A day earlier, gold prices had declined by Rs. 1,000 per tola, closing at Rs. 426,436.

In the international market, gold gained $10 per ounce, with the price reaching $4,050 per ounce, contributing to the upward trend in local prices.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved lower, with the price of silver per tola falling by Rs. 76 to Rs. 6,215.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in line with international market trends and changes in the exchange rate.
