Muhammad Farzeen Claims Tekken 8 Title at The MIXUP 2026 in France
Pakistani esports player Muhammad Farzeen secured first place at The MIXUP 2026 tournament held in Lyon, France, further adding to his achievements in international Tekken competition.
The event took place from June 13 to 14 and featured Tekken 8 as a Tekken World Tour Master Event. A total of 270 participants competed in the tournament, including several well-known players from around the world.
Farzeen finished at the top of the standings after a strong performance throughout the competition. South Korea’s Mulgold claimed second place, while Japan’s Nobi completed the podium in third.
The result marks another notable achievement for Pakistan’s competitive Tekken community, which has continued to perform well in international tournaments. Earlier this year, Farzeen also won the Tekken 8 title at Combo Breaker 2026.
Farzeen is among six Pakistani players who have qualified for the Tekken 8 competition at the Esports World Cup 2026. The other qualified players from Pakistan include Arslan Ash, Atif Butt, Usama Abbasi, Hafiz Tanveer, and Adeel Sheikh.
The Tekken 8 event at the Esports World Cup 2026 is expected to feature 32 players competing for a prize pool of $1 million. Farzeen earned his qualification through the Tekken World Tour pathway.
Representing the esports organization Team Falcons, Farzeen has established himself as one of Pakistan’s leading Tekken competitors during the current season. His latest result in France further highlights the growing presence of Pakistani players on the international esports stage.
