Rawalpindi Announces 1,562 Temporary Jobs for Anti-Dengue Program

Rawalpindi, July 6, 2026: The District Health Authority (DHA) Rawalpindi has announced 1,562 temporary vacancies under its Anti-Dengue Program. The recruitment aims to strengthen dengue prevention and surveillance efforts across the district during the ongoing season.

The appointments will be made on a contingent paid/daily-wage basis for a period of up to 89 days.

Sanitary Patrol Positions

Out of the total vacancies, 1,500 positions are available for Sanitary Patrol staff.

The positions are distributed across various tehsils, union councils, wards, towns, and cantonment areas of Rawalpindi district.

The breakdown includes:

  • 450 vacancies for male candidates
  • 1,050 vacancies for female candidates

Selected candidates will assist in dengue prevention activities, including:

  • Field inspections
  • Larvae surveillance
  • Data collection and reporting
  • Other duties assigned under the Anti-Dengue Program

Applicants should be physically fit and willing to perform field duties. Candidates may also be required to use an Android smartphone for digital reporting during field operations.

Entomologist Vacancies

The department has also announced 62 vacancies for Entomologists.

Applicants must meet the educational qualifications and experience requirements specified in the official advertisement. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant backgrounds in public health, vector control, dengue surveillance, or related fields.
