Sohail Afridi summons emergency K-P cabinet meeting

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has called an emergency meeting of the provincial cabinet for Wednesday morning as his ongoing long march continues.

According to sources, Afridi issued instructions for the meeting late Tuesday night while he was participating in the march.

The chief minister has reportedly expressed concern over the governor’s decision to call a separate meeting to discuss the province’s law and order situation.

No formal agenda for the emergency cabinet meeting has been released so far.

Despite the meeting, the long march is expected to proceed according to its planned schedule.

Afridi is scheduled to join the participants of the long march after attending the cabinet meeting.
