Team USA sets record as first country to win 100 medals at Paris Olympics

As the competition nears its end, the United States leads with 30 gold medals and 103 overall medals. China is close behind with 29 gold medals, while Australia, France, and Great Britain are also in the top five.

In recent highlights, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone of the U.S. set a new world record of 50.37 seconds in the women’s 400m hurdles, securing gold, with Anna Cockrell earning the silver.

Grant Holloway claimed gold in the men’s 110m hurdles with a time of 12.99 seconds, outperforming fellow American Daniel Roberts. Tara Davis-Woodhall won gold in the women’s long jump, with Jasmine Moore taking bronze behind Germany’s Malaika Mihambo.
