Tourists Rescued After SUV Gets Stuck in Swat’s Nasrullah Lake

Three tourists were safely rescued after their SUV became stuck in Nasrullah Lake in Swat while they were reportedly filming a video near the water, local authorities confirmed.

According to the Assistant Commissioner of Bahrain, rescue teams quickly reached the scene and successfully recovered both the vehicle and the occupants without any injuries. The tourists were later taken into custody, fined for violating safety regulations, and subsequently released.

Rescue Operation Completed Successfully

Officials said the timely response of rescue personnel helped prevent the situation from turning into a serious accident. Authorities urged visitors to avoid taking unnecessary risks at tourist destinations, especially around lakes, rivers, and other hazardous areas.

Safety Concerns Continue in Swat

The latest incident comes as concerns over tourist safety remain high following a recent boating tragedy in Swat.

Rescue officials confirmed that search efforts are still underway for a girl who went missing after a boat capsized at Saifullah Lake in Kalam several days ago. The accident claimed the lives of six people, while two others were rescued safely.

Authorities said all passengers on the boat belonged to the same family from Lahore.

Authorities Urge Responsible Tourism

Officials have once again appealed to tourists to follow safety guidelines and avoid dangerous activities while visiting northern Pakistan. They stressed that reckless behavior near lakes, rivers, and mountainous areas can put lives at risk and create additional challenges for rescue teams.

The administration has warned that legal action may be taken against individuals who violate safety rules at tourist destinations.
